PSI Systems, Inc. is an engineering, software, and management consulting firm. The main office is located in downtown Palo Alto near Stanford University. Principal staff members are M.S. and Ph.D. level engineers. Our core team consists of computer, mechanical and environmental engineers, and technical writers and trainers. Each staff member has 5-20 years of computing and application deployment experience.
Our software experience is focused on object-oriented, client-server technology. Most of our development takes place in Windows operating systems and associated development platforms. Some members of our team have a background in mainframes or mini-computers and their operating systems. Recent projects have brought us into distributed processing and Internet communications. We are especially proud of our user interface design experience.
PSI was founded in 1976 by Dr. Harry Whitehouse under the name of PSI Associates. The early years were fortified by chocolate and a lot of Pepsi. Over the years the company has steadily grown on a diet of milkshakes, bagels and chocolate chip cookies. A long standing tradition is to bring together the PSI team for pizza on Fridays... although some of us are now eating our pizza without the cheese!
